Many of our classes are designated as "kid friendly," meaning that they are appropriate (or intended) for children ages 14-17. For regularly scheduled classes, one adult must register for these classes and attend with the child.

In the summer, we participate in NCC's Horizons for Youth Program, which accepts children in different age brackets for one day up to a full week of instruction in a variety of fun, hands-on activities. For example, older children may enjoy our "Build Your Own 3D Printer" class.  Younger children might participate in laser cutting or plastics molding activities.  Register early, as these classes fill up quickly.

Customized instruction for school classes and clubs, or outside youth groups, is also available.
